G-Shock’s 40th-anniversary celebration made the limited-edition timepiece of MRG-B2000SG-1A from the flagship MR-G line of timepieces, honoring artisanal craftwork. It is dedicated to the traditional Japanese artisanal techniques, which have been handed down for centuries. The timepiece celebrates the samurai warrior pride and aesthetics with the design incorporating the Shougeki-Maru: Gai.

MRG-B2000SG-1A has a very special helmet with a tiger design and a rock-gain relief, which is intricately engraved by the metalsmith Koyabashi Masao. It is a limited-edition timepiece, unique and hand-engraved by the master craftsman. The rubber band in pure white dura soft fluoro evokes the look of a white ito Odoshio used in crafting conventional Japanese armor. The dark silver and deep-layer hardening process are applied to the recrystallized titanium case, expressing the color of Shougeki-Maru: Gai helmet

You will see an engraved metal plate that commemorates the G-Shock 40th anniversary and adds the touch of edgy styling. MRG-B2000SG-1A provides more homage to tradition. The timepiece provides superior modern functionality.

Shelf life of G-Shock

The shelf life of G-Shock is 10 years at room temperature after it goes through gradual degradation. G-Shock watches can last a lifetime, but the bands wear out when prolonged use. Replacement is possible, you can place the watch facing downwards on a soft cloth and then unhook the spring bars at the base of each strap.
